Edwin Orlando Diaz Laboy (born March 22, 1994) is a Puerto Rican Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Mets (MLB). He made his major league debut with the Seattle Mariners in June 2016, and he played for them from 2016 to 2018.

Diaz won a silver medal as a relief pitcher, specifically as a closer, for the Puerto Rican national team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic. At the tournament, he made two saves, one against the Dominican Republic and the other against the United States, both in the second round.
