Born on January 4, 1985, in Youngstown, Ohio, Gregory was the son of the late Dr. Gregory S. Zinni, MD, and Catherine J. (Harlor) Zinni. He was known for his charismatic personality and unwavering commitment to life’s simple pleasures, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
Gregory was affectionately known as the “movie guru” among his loved ones, always ready with a concise and witty movie reference to brighten any situation. His earliest memories revolved around playing baseball for Mill Creek under the guidance of his father and uncle Kenny, setting the foundation for his lifelong passion for sports and outdoor activities.
Throughout adulthood, Gregory remained active and adventurous, enjoying activities like skating, golfing, snowboarding, skydiving, scuba diving, and backyard games. He was a dedicated supporter of the Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State Buckeyes.

He also leaves behind nieces Adriana and Viviana Daff and Evelyn Klimis, as well as his uncle Jeffrey C. He was preceded in death by his loyal companion, Rufio, and his parents, Dr. Gregory S. Zinni, MD, and Catherine J. Zinni. Additionally, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Paul and Helen Harlor, Chester and Loretta Zinni, and his uncles, Kenneth Zinni, Chester Zinni, and Michael (Elizabeth) Harlor.
